Salzburg

Sbg_salzburg_fluss I can say that Salzburg is a baroque city on the banks of Salzach River. It's the breathtaking capital of Land Salzburg.

This ex-Roman site of Juvavum is set against a pristine mountain backdrop. Both the city and the river were named afyer the early residents who used to work and earned their living in the local salt mines.

A great cultural place to travel to, no great parties though ;) if you know what I mean, it's like going to a clasical concert instead of a Rolling stones one (although they are also clasicals in a different way)
