Bergbaumuseum
This museum is placed in the historic city of Hall, approximately 10km outside of Innsbruck. It is a reproduction of the former salt mine in close to Halltal, which was shutted down in 1967. Through the authentic representation of the mines, with tunnels, pits, a slide and a drilling-machine visitors get a real feel of how it would be to be working underground. Cars can park in the multi-storey carpark at Oberer Stadtplatz.


The Salvatorkirche, is located at the southern end of Salvatorgasse. The church was donated by one of Hall's citizens, Hans Kripp, and built between 1400 and 1406. Visitors will enjoy two treasures in particular at the left of the chancel wall is the gravestone emblem of the founder, Hans Kripp, and at the eastern end of the choir enclosure is a painting depicting Christ on judgement day, both very peculiar and impressive.

The 'Franziskanerkloster' was constructed from 1644-55 and can be seen in the historic centre of the town of 'Hall', about 10km outside of Innsbruck. The adjoining church was consecrated in 1648. A fire in 1760 destroyed everything but the walls. Inside the church the paintings on the left side-altar and to the right of the entrance, displaying Saint Paschalis and the birth of Saint Francis respecively are especially remarkable, as is the wooden relief showing Saint Anthony. The cloister equally offers some outstanding paintings dating back to 1760/70, displaying images from the life of Saint Francis as well as a rare view of the historic town of Hall.
The Herz Jesu (heart of Jesus) convent is l located approximately 10 km from Innsbruck, at the centre of Hall's old town directly on Stiftsplatz. The former 'Damenstift' was founded in 1567 by the Arch Dutchess Magdalena, Arch Duke Ferdinand II's sister. The beautiful renaissance style convent gates built in 1570, are remarkable, depicting a relief operation. In 1783 the "Stift" was dissolved and the vast stock of art works was destroyed. It has been used as a convent by the "Zum heiligen Herzen Jesu" (To The Holy Heart of Jesus) order of nuns since 1912. There are parking facilities for cars in the underground multi-storey carparks at Stadtgraben and Unterer Stadtplatz.
This popular outdoor pool is situated in Hall, about 8km to the west of Innsbruck. The grounds are sorrounded with a vast lawn with terrific views of the beautiful Karwendel mountains and fun and games in the form of a baby pool, a childrens's pool, a deep water pool, a 30-foot diving board and a giant water slide. A restaurant and snack bar offer a wide range of hot and cold meals and refreshments.
